Applicants are a band from London, who make super listenable yet chaotic computer-based-thrashy-indie-guitar-pop. The members come from Wolverhampton, London and Hong Kong.
The impossibly named Fidel Villeneuve fronts the group and writes the songs. Fidel used to live in Joe Meek's bedroom for a while, and also recorded for Digital Hardcore Recordings.
The band have released one album so far, called Life in the Bus Lane, a co-release with Brainlove and Tigertrap Records. The band were joined after this by Adam Boult on drums, and are half way through making their second record.
